"Aberdeen the granite city" the description of the stone used for many of the buildings brings to mind images of a grey gloomy place.

Certainly that's far from the case. Aberdeen is a vibrant, modern wealthy city with much to see and do.

The are large numbers of hot...

The Island

A course of massive dunes, more like what one would see in the south west of the country.

The layout is both testing and rewarding, it has holes moving to all points of the compass, this the wind is a factor be it helpful/hurtful/neutral depending on the hole.

This is a hard course to put in a box, if you did the box might have Wolf Creek and Cruden Bay in it.

A brutal yet playful design, over and over again you are challenged to pull out the hero shot, all the while knowing you should make the conservative play.

Mid Pines - where to start!

An epic course, which builds to a four hole stretch that would grace any course!

Upon arrival the 100 plus year old Lodge and Clubhouse is the first thing you notice. She stands above the property regal and majestic.

With Masters Thursday in the books some nagging question got answered...

1. Will Tiger contend: Absolutely, his game looks sharp and in control and he played conservatively, especially on approach shots, positioning himself to be right there come Sunday.

Tommy Fleetwood and Keegan Bradley share the lead, they are the in form players, both having lead into the final round last week at Bay Hill.

Think about this... 17,000 balls each year go into the lake at the 17th hole here at Sawgrass! You probably have a hole that's 125m long at your home course, and find it quite easy. But it's amazing what the water does to peoples disposition!

I'm really looking forward...

What a stunning day it is here at The Players Championship at Sawgrass.

With the event moving to the earlier time of year, the course seems to play far differently from last year, the course is softer/longer and the air is cooler. I'm told this is more like what Pete Dy...
