Royal Portrush lived up to its billing as maybe the most difficult course of the Tour, and this was on at 24 degree day with light breezes for Portrush that is!
The team enjoyed the lunch in the Dunluce Lounge before warming up in the range and heading o the first tee.
The new holes at the 7th and 8th opened by local lad and former Champion Golfer of the Year Darren Clarke a couple of weeks ago. Several new back tees have been constructed in preparation for the 2019 Open which has the club officials and on their toes with excitement.
Today's wind was a warm Easterly which is not the prevailing wind so the course played a little tricky but the overall sentiment was this was a course of discernible challenge.... ( I'm not going mention the scores at the bottom of the board!!!).
Low man was Brent Taylor from Russley Golf Club storming home with 21 points on the back nine for 32 pointts total.
