(Non) Masters Thursday 2020

It's an odd feeling sitting at home not being at Augusta, and knowing there is no event starting today. We worked so hard on a special Masters experience for our 2019 travelers, sure is frustrating, but we can only hope the event goes ahead in November.

We thought we would re-live some special recent Masters, today it will be 2016. Danny Willett became a most unlikely champion after being the last man to arrive after the recent birth of his son Zach. Danny scorched the back nine as Jordan Spieth imploded with a 7 on the par 3 12th hole. Many called Willett lucky, but he was far from that. He played the best on Sunday and came out on top, you can't argue with the numbers!

That day is also famous for 3 holes in one on the 16th hole. Elite Tour leaders Marcus Wheelhouse and myself saw each one along with several other Elite Tour members. Says Marcus "It was a surreal thing to see the first, and then to see a 2nd was just bizarre. After that we were glued to that green and sure enough we had the in-off shot by Louis to cap it off".
